I am on a mission to help people of faith manage their finances wisely. As the Founder of Finance by Faith, I provide training, coaching, and advisory services to help individuals and organizations manage cash flow, minimize debt, and invest in real estate.
Professional Background
With over 25 years of experience, I am a finance professional skilled in commercial real estate lending, having underwritten and financed over $100 million in construction loans for market-rate and affordable housing developments in the Mid-Atlantic region. My earlier career in actuarial science involved assessing risks for financial institutions, medical professionals, and business owners to forecast insurance premiums.
Commitment to Community
I am dedicated to enhancing the financial skills of historically marginalized communities. My passion for numbers and helping others has resulted in increased savings, significant debt reduction, improved credit scores, and property acquisition for families and organizations.
Author and Community Involvement
I am the author of The Debt Denominator, a resource for getting out of debt from a biblical perspective. I also share my gifts and talents with the community through my involvement on several boards.
Education
I hold a BS in mathematics from Clark Atlanta University and an MBA in real estate and finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Since 2018, Finance by Faith has helped people of faith improve their finances and achieve their financial goals. We have accomplished this by:
1. Conducting financial trainings and workshops for organizations covering budgeting,
saving, debt, credit, homeownership and investing
2. Developing curriculums covering financial stewardship, personal finance and corporate
financial statements
3. Consulting with individuals to enhance money management and reduce debt
4. Providing educational information and inspiration to increase your financial knowledge and your faith in God

Imani Hamilton is on assignment to help people of faith manage their finances wisely. She teaches individuals and organizations how to manage cash flow, minimize debt, and invest in real estate through training and advisory services.
She is a finance professional with over 25 years of experience, including commercial real estate banking, where she underwrote and financed well over $100 million in real estate construction loans for market-rate and affordable housing developments in the Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to that, she worked in actuarial science on the property and casualty side, where she assessed the risks of financial institutions, medical professionals, and business owners to forecast insurance premiums.
Imani is committed to strengthening the financial acumen of historically marginalized communities. Her fervency for numbers and helping others has led to increased savings, significant debt reduction, improved credit scores, and property acquisition for families and organizations alike.

Imani graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a B.S. in Mathematics and earned an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a native Philadelphian and lives just outside the city with her husband and three children. They are members of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church.
