About Imani
Fueled by love for God and family, Imani Hamilton is on assignment to help faith-driven entrepreneurs and leaders manage their finances wisely for Kingdom impact. As Founder of Finance by Faith, Imani teaches clients how to manage cash flow, minimize debt, and invest in real estate through trainings, coaching, and business advisory consulting. She is also the author of The Debt Denominator, a resource for getting out of debt from a biblical perspective.
Imani knew at a young age that she’d have a career involving numbers. She began her career as an actuary in insurance and risk management and later transitioned into real estate investing and commercial real estate banking.
Imani is no stranger to debt management and real estate – professionally and personally. Although she had purchased five properties by age 28, the 2008 financial crisis delivered a striking blow, leaving her with significant financial loss and bank repossession. Fed up and ready for change, she and her husband worked diligently to pay off $142K in debt in just over three years.
Her fervency for numbers, helping others, and strengthening the financial acumen of her community coupled with over 15 years in financial services has led to the development of solid financial plans, significant debt reduction, increased savings, improved credit scores, and property acquisition for individuals, married couples, churches, and organizations alike.
Imani graduated magna cum laude from Clark Atlanta University with a B.S. in Mathematics and earned an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
She further shares her gifts and talents with the community through her local church Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church and through her affiliation with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and Rebuilding Together Philadelphia. Most importantly, Imani loves spending time with her husband Ross, and their three children Anaya, Azaria, and Michael.
