But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded! – (2 Chronicles 15:7)
The Philadelphia Eagles were down 26-7 at halftime against the Los Angeles Rams. Outside of a touchdown in the first 8 minutes of the game, the Eagles couldn’t get any traction, and the LA Rams completely dominated. The Philadelphia fans booed them as they headed to the locker room. They didn’t look like the Super Bowl champions from last season. However, after the third quarter started, they regained their footing and were able to get down the field and score a few times. With less than two minutes left in the game, the Eagles finally took the lead 27-26. Despite the lead, the Rams were able to get down the field quickly and in great field position to kick an easy field goal with 7 seconds left in the game. It looked like the Eagles were going to lose the game after all until the unthinkable happened. The Eagles blocked the field goal kick, then picked up the ball and ran it all the way back for another touchdown. The Eagles won 33-26, demonstrating that anyone can come back from a major setback and crush it.
